Job summary

St Engineering in Singapore is seeking an NDT Inspector specialized in Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection to support aerospace components. You will perform FPI per approved procedures, prepare parts, operate and maintain inspection systems, and document results with accuracy.

You will ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while collaborating with QA, Production, and Engineering to resolve inspection issues and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience performing Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection in aerospace contexts.
• Familiarity with customer specifications and industry standards.
• Ability to document results and maintain inspection records accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) on aerospace components per procedures and standards.
• Conduct pre-inspection activities including cleaning, masking, preparation, and handling of components.
• Operate and maintain FPI equipment per work instructions.
• Record daily process control parameters and results.
• Inspect weld-repaired components for conformity to acceptance criteria.
• Document inspection results and maintain records per quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in maintaining inspection equipment for reliability.
• Support audits, housekeeping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with QA, Production, and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and qualify in additional NDT methods as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by QA Manager.
