KPMG Singapore seeks a Forensic Technology Graduate Associate to support investigations, AML compliance, and digital forensic analysis within a global professional services firm.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Gain hands-on experience in forensic engagements, including fraud and misconduct investigations, AML framework assessments, customer due diligence remediation, and digital forensic procedures.
- Participate in forensic practice development with senior management, including drafting proposals, thought leadership, and team-building activities.
- Understand stakeholder management and project delivery, taking responsibility for engagement planning and reporting significant developments.
- Build and maintain client relationships throughout and after engagements.
- Identify, collect, preserve, process, and manage electronic data for e-discovery engagements.
- Assist in forensic imaging of storage media from computers, servers, mobile devices, and cloud environments while maintaining data integrity.
- Host forensic analysis of Windows and/or Macintosh file systems.
- Conduct post-incident investigations, including log file and malware analysis, and investigation of computer artefacts.
- Assist with drafting reports and presentations explaining findings.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Proficiency in forensic software to identify, collect, preserve, and analyse electronic data from various devices and storage media.
- Working knowledge of evidence handling, chain-of-custody, acquisition techniques, digital evidence analysis, and forensic lab practices.
- Coding ability in any popular language is an advantage for automating routine tasks.
- Knowledge of database management and SQL preferred.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Windows, Macintosh, and other operating systems, with the ability to translate artefacts into investigation outcomes supported by documentation.
- Certifications in cloud technologies, computer forensics, and/or e-discovery are advantageous.
