Job summary
A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a candidate for an asset management role. - Maintain accurate asset records including acquisition and maintenance history.
- Handle day-to-day office administration duties.
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding staff matters.
- Conduct daily checks for office cleanliness.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and administrative duties.

Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining a comprehensive asset register. This involves documenting all office assets, including details like description, serial number, purchase date, cost, location.
- Implementing a system for asset tagging and identification. This will involve using barcodes issued by Finance, or other methods to easily identify and track office assets.
- Conducting physical asset verifications. This ensures the accuracy of the asset register and helps identify missing or misplaced items.
- Managing the acquisition and procurement of new assets. This includes evaluating needs, researching options, and managing the purchasing process.
- Overseeing the maintenance and repair of assets. This involves scheduling regular maintenance, responding to repair requests, and managing vendor relationships.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date asset records, including acquisition, disposal, and maintenance history.
- Handling day-to-day operation for office administration duties, including answering external calls, issuing stationeries, portable microphones/projector/laser pointers, etc.
- Handling the Onboarding and Offboarding of staff matters such as issuing photo ID to staff and clearance (e.g., collection of access card/photo ID).
- Daily checks to ensure tidiness of the office, pantry, and meeting rooms.
- Assisting in ad-hoc projects such as carrying out minor A&A works, power shutdown, fire drill exercise including preventive maintenance and repair work.
- Other ad-hoc administrative and facilities duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma holder / GCE O level with at least 1 year admin experience.
- Good skill set with use of MS Word.
- Good command of English.
- Able to start work immediately.
- Shortlisted candidates will be offered a 3 months agency contract employment.
