Job summary

A local recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a professional to ensure compliance in food regulatory frameworks. Responsibilities include reviewing product labelling, conducting audits, and advising partners on regulatory changes. Candidates should have a diploma in Food Science or a related field, alongside at least 2 years of experience in food regulation. Strong attention to detail and collaboration skills are essential for building lasting client relationships. The position is a 2-year renewable contract.

Qualifications

  • Minimally a Diploma in Food Science/Diploma in Nutrition and/or Dietetics.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in Food Regulatory.
  • Preferably WSQ Food Labelling Good Practices.

Job description

Location:

  • Central

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 to 9 hours per day

Contract Duration: 2 years contract (renewable) - From May 2026 to May 2028

Job Description:

  • Review and provide advice on product labelling, packaging and food claims to ensure compliance to food regulatory framework.

  • Review and provide advice on advertising and marketing materials to ensure compliance to food guidelines.

  • Monitor regulatory changes and advise partners accordingly.

  • Conduct audit checks on food products.

  • Respond to general enquiries.

  • Maintain accurate records of all regulatory submissions, correspondences, and approvals.

  • Processing of data and monthly reports to client.

  • Serve as the main contact for assigned accounts, building strong client relationships.

  • Assist partners on their challenges and issues to offer relevant advice.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimally Diploma in Food Science/Diploma in Nutrition and/or Dietetics.

  • At least 2 years of working experience in Food Regulatory.

  • Preferably WSQ Food Labelling Good Practices.

  • Good attention to detail and ability to understand regulatory guidelines.

  • Strong stakeholder collaboration written and communication skills.
