A leading HR consultancy in Singapore is seeking an HR officer to manage scholarship programs, coordinate recruitment processes, and ensure timely processing of claims. The ideal candidate has a diploma in HR or relevant fields, proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, and is detail-oriented with strong communication skills. This is a temporary contract role until March 2026.

Ensure all mailbox queries are attended to within stipulated timeline
Provide cross-function team coverage
Processing airfare, conference, immigration Health Surcharge (HIS) and scholar gathering claims for various scholar programs within stipulated timeline
Processing of Payments to Universities
Track and process tuition fees to local and overseas universities
Submission of scholar listing to universities twice yearly during new scholar intake
Disburse thesis/defense allowances to scholars
Trigger and track progress report collection and update late submissions across various scholarship programme
Update database with students' progress, exam results and ensure proper documentation for e-filing
Monitor and verify document submissions in the portal
Track thesis submission and remind scholars to request PhD extensions if needed
Verify flight itinerary/invoice for return trips and ensure compliance with funding guidelines
Prepare funding support letters upon requests
Process and verify trip claims and submissions according to guidelines
Screen and verify applicants to ensure eligibility and completeness of applications
Schedule and coordinate interviews with first-round and final-round interview panels
Prepare and distribute interview materials to panel members and candidates
Collect and assess interview feedback, ensuring accurate data entry into the system
Prepare scholarship offer packages and track acceptance, updating relevant databases
Coordinate pre-deed signing documents, including verification of supporting materials
Manage Deed Signing sessions, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and filed
Update and maintain scholar records, including onboarding and administrative queries
Diploma Human Resources, Business or relevant discipline
Tech-savvy with good proficiency in Microsoft Office and technology tools (Note: Excel skills such as vlookup and pivot tables are important)
Experience with SAP or other leading HR Systems preferably
A good team player, possess a cheerful personality and a positive attitude
Meticulous with details, good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong aptitude to learn quickly, pick up new skills and adaptable
Able to multitask and handle high volume of work
Able to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in the management of work
Mondays to Thursdays 8:30am to 6pm, Fridays 8:30am to 5:30pm
