Job description

Baptist Theological Seminary (BTS) is an agency of the Singapore Baptist Convention. It was setup to equip lay ministers and train missional pastors in Singapore and nearby countries. A team of dedicated faculty and staff serves together toward this goal. To add to the strength of the institution, BTS is looking for conscientious individual who enjoys making a difference and being part of a team to serve as a support staff.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal relationship skills; enjoy interacting with students, and gain satisfaction from outcomes of administrative work.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  1. Communications & Media
    • Manage and update website and other social media platform like Facebook, YouTube.
    • Send regular mailers in soft or hardcopy to partners and supporters of BTS.
    • Maintain corporate materials like event photos, videos etc.
    • Maintain databases
  2. Administrative Support in the Business Office
    • Reception
    • Process mails and file documents
    • Liaise with vendors for regular and ad-hoc onsite support
    • Liaise with vendor on IT equipment needs
    • Manage and replenish supplies/inventories
    • Assist in organising of BTS Events
  3. Provide support for classroom setup, new and graduating student matters, course feedback and periodic church seminars and workshops.
Qualifications and Requisites
  1. A-level/Diploma holder
  2. At least 1 year of working experience in similar capacity
  3. Computer literacy – Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Google Form and WordPress
  4. Detail-oriented and good communication
  5. Ability to handle administrative duties in Chinese and English
  6. Singaporean and Permanent Resident Only
