Job summary

A manufacturing company based in Singapore is seeking an assistant for the production planner/manager. Responsibilities include assisting in production planning, managing inventory, filing, and administrative tasks. Strong administrative experience and proficiency in Microsoft applications are essential. Fluency in Mandarin is required for communication with operators. This role focuses on supporting production operations and ensuring efficiency on the production floor.

Job description
Job summary
  1. Assist Production Planner/Manager at all times.
  2. Responsible for daily filing, photocopy, scanning of documents and administrative task.
  3. Assist in production planning, assign production operator to relevant machine and its target quantity.
  4. Assist in planning machine maintenance and preventive maintenance schedule.
  5. Work with production supervisor to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of production floor.
  6. Work cohesively with other departments on sales orders and advise ETA of finished products.
  7. Update completed work order quantity into the system when applicable.
  8. Ensure sufficient stock for finished product and no out of stock issue.
  9. Assist in managing raw material inventory.
  10. Assist in supervise and manage production team (training, leave approval, personal issues).
  11. Assist in ISO audits and preparation.
  12. Maintaining a database, ensuring that records are complete and current.
  13. Any other area of responsibilities that the company deems necessary.
Competency requirements
  1. Administrative experience.
  2. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central proficiency will be an added advantage.
  3. Proficient in using Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as other Microsoft applications.
  4. Well organized, attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. Communication skills.
  6. Fluent in mandarin to speak with operators.
  7. Able to understand basic fundamentals of machine operations and production workflow.
  8. Able to adapt to changes quickly.
Working hours

Monday to Friday: 8 30am - 5 45pm

Saturday: 8 30am - 2 30pm (1 shift every 4 weeks)
