Job summary

A logistics and administrative solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a skilled individual for an administrative and accounting role. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 'O' Levels and at least 3 years of experience in similar fields. Responsibilities include order processing, customer communication, data entry, and supporting the accounting team. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. S-Pass quota is not available.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities:
Order Processing and Coordination:
  • Receive and review shipping requests and orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and generate shipping documents, including packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping labels.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and shipping teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Customer and Vendor Communication:
  • Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors regarding shipping inquiries, tracking, and delivery status.
  • Respond promptly to customer and vendor inquiries via phone, email, or other communication channels.
  • Address and resolve any shipping-related issues or discrepancies.
Data Entry and Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate record of shipping activities, including order status, shipping dates, and tracking information.
  • Enter shipping data into internal systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Prepare and file shipping reports and documentation as required.
Inventory Management:
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and coordinating with the purchasing department for restocking.
  • Conduct periodic inventory audits to ensure accuracy and address any discrepancies.
Administrative Support:
  • Provide general administrative support including scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining filing systems.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the overall efficiency of the admin department.
Accounting Support:
  • Assist day-to-day accounting task such as recording and invoicing.
  • Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) function.
Requirement :
  • Education: Minimum ‘O’ Levels or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative and accounting role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused demeanor.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipping documents and data entry.
