Job summary

Job Description
  • Familiar with MOM’s rules and regulations on the Marine Shipyard Scheme terms and conditions, including the deductible and non-deductible of RC’s workers’ salaries.
  • Track and ensure all RC submit the following document on monthly basis to performance checks and balance to ensure all RC adhere to the above-mentioned Marine Shipyard Scheme:
  1. Proof of payment on Levy
  2. Proof of payment on CPF
  3. Proof of payment on dormitory
  4. Proof of payment on workers’ salaries. Itemized pay slips must be provided.
  • Assist in Pilot Program (means to import workers for projects).
  • Assist in following up with Contractors on their CPF top up plan.
  • Check and ensure all worker’s detail entered by Contractors in the E-Service tallied with the Work Permit copy, insurances etc. before approving the particular in the System.
  • Check and ensure all documents submitted by Contractor for the Safety Induction Course to be in order before approving in E-Service (eg, Letter of indemnity, Letter of Undertaking, HSE Acknowledgement Form, insurances etc.)
  • Responsible for overall filing system in Sub-contracting Department.
  • To support Sub-Contracting Executives as and when required (eg. WO creation, prepare letter etc.).
  • Assist to check and ensure issued WOs are duly signed by Contractor and returned within 3 days. All signed WO to be saved in the shared folder.
  • Providing general administrative support to Sub-contracting Department (eg. issue memo to Contractors, consolidate response internally on survey etc.).
  • Perform bi-weekly worker’s interview for RC Subcontractors.
