Job summary

Hours
  • Mon–Thu: 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, inclusive 0.5 hr lunch break
  • Fri: 10 am to 6:30 pm, inclusive 0.5 hr lunch break
  • Sat, Sun and gazetted public holidays – no service required
Scope of Services
  1. Front desk reception duties such as answering/transferring phone calls and attending to walk‑in parents/ students / vendors
  2. Issuing of keys to staff if required for special rooms
  3. Record details of and attend to students who are unwell at the sick bay
  4. Contact parents if a student is unwell
  5. Record details of students who leave school early due to sickness and/or medical appointment and ensure that the early dismissal form is filled up
  6. Record details of Lost & Found items in the “Lost & Found” file and track the movements at the end of every school term
  7. Receive delivery items and inform staff for collection from the General Office
  8. Collate list of students who have yet to collect testimonials
  9. Manage the movements of school uniforms on loan to students
  10. Prepare signages for events and labels for rooms
  11. Distribute mailers and any other materials required
  12. Count food coupons for payment if required
  13. Perform other ad‑hoc administrative duties when required
Requirements
  1. Minimally ‘N’ Level Certificate or its equivalent
  2. Valid first aid with CPR certification is an advantage
  3. Good communication and inter‑personal skills with patience and ability to remain calm during challenging situations
  4. Possess initiative, good problem‑solving skills and ability to multitask
  5. Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team
  6. Proficient in using MS Office Applications, e.g. MS Word, MS Excel etc.
  7. 2 years of similar working experience in a school environment; personnel shall minimally have the following experience: 3 years of relevant experience in administration
