Administrative Assistant (6-Month Contract)

Location: Jurong West (Pioneer)

Salary: $2,700 per month (Fixed, Non-negotiable)

Working Hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 8.30am - 5.45pm
  • Friday: 8.30am - 5.15pm

About the Role

My client is looking for a meticulous and proactive Administrative Assistant to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. In this role, you will play an important part in supporting the department's daily operations, coordinating academic processes, and ensuring smooth administrative workflows.

This position is ideal for candidates who are organised, resourceful, and enjoy working in an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support overseas business travel arrangements, including logistics coordination and documentation.
  • Assist in faculty appointment and re-appointment matters, ensuring accurate records and timely submissions.
  • Support the planning of supervisor allocations and the processing of Teaching Practicum reports.
  • Record and maintain minutes for department meetings.
  • Carry out internal mail despatch and other routine office tasks.
  • Provide general administrative support and handle ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in any discipline.
  • Prior experience in the education sector and/or administrative work will be an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
