Job summary

A leading global trading firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced administrative professional to assist traders in commodities derivatives and precious metals. The role involves managing trade documents, handling general office tasks, and requires a degree along with over 3 years of relevant experience. The position offers a full-time, permanent role with office hours from 9:30 am to 6:15 pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Degree is required.
  • More than 3 years working experience in administrative job.
  • Advantage if you have experience in simple accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Traders and Sales for both commodities derivatives and physical precious metals business.
  • Inputting trades into the system.
  • Document filing, such as audited financial filing and GST filing.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Overview

Company is part of a leading global trading group, engaged in commodities derivatives and physical precious metals trading. Headquartered in London with offices in Tokyo, Singapore, and New York, we operate globally. The Singapore branch covers corporate clients across Asia (excluding Japan).

Responsibilities
  • Assist Traders and Sales for both commodities derivatives and physical precious metals business.
  • Sending trade recaps
  • Inputting trades into the system
  • Preparing and monitoring various system reports
  • Coordinating with back office, middle office, and compliance teams in London as necessary
  • Assist logistic operation, handling shipping documents, reconciling inventory balance etc.
  • Handle accounting work, such as to expense reimbursement, payment request, invoice etc.
  • Document filing, such as audited financial filing, GST filing and Transfer Pricing Document etc.
  • Handle general office administration work.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree is required.
  • More than 3 years working experience in administrative job
  • Advantage if you have an experience in simple accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task, work independently and collaborate with team members.
