A government agency in Singapore is seeking an Adjunct Operations Manager to oversee infrastructure and logistics management within schools. The successful candidate will lead a team, manage vendor relations, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, and preference will be given to those with estate management experience. This is a one-year contract position. Adjunct Operations Manager plays a key role in infrastructure and logistics management, leading and supervising a team of Operations Support Officers (OSOs), as well as upholding and maintaining the safety and security of the school.
You will be involved in various aspects of school operations such as supervising and managing the maintenance of school facilities to ensure a safe learning environment, and lead a team of OSOs for effective school operations. You will also supervise vendors, including Managing Agents and Term Contractors, for infrastructure/ facilities improvement and maintenance works, and work with Vice-Principal (Administration) and Administration Manager to manage infrastructure-related budget and evaluate infrastructure-related project proposals. In addition, you will ensure school compliance with safety regulations and implement and oversee school safety protocols, and support student discipline-related matters.
