Job summary

Edufarm Learning Centre LLP is seeking Relief Lead Playgroup Teachers to provide ad hoc, on-call cover in Singapore. Roles involve leading playgroup activities, guiding children through routines, and ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment during sessions.

Start date is 4 January 2027, with sessions from 9.30am to 11.30am. Compensation is S$30 per session for centres with 9+ students, with MRT and bus transport costs covered and payment credited on the 7th of each month.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience teaching children aged 18 months to 3 years.
• One of the listed Early Childhood qualifications is required.
• Candidates must meet the English/academic criteria provided by HR.

Responsibilities

• Lead playgroup activities and guide children through classroom routines.
• Help maintain a safe, caring and engaging learning environment; provide ad hoc cover as needed.

Ad Hoc Relief Lead Playgroup Teacher

Edufarm is looking for Relief Lead Playgroup Teachers to provide cover on an ad hoc, on-call basis.

Locations

• South, East and North of Singapore

Start date

4 January 2027

Session time

9.30am-11.30am (2 hours)

Role

Lead playgroup activities, guide children through classroom routines, and help maintain a safe, caring and engaging learning environment.

Pay and arrangements

• S$30 per session for centres with 9 students and above.
• MRT and bus transport costs are covered.
• Pay is credited on the 7th of each month.

Requirements

At least 2 years' experience teaching children aged 18 months to 3 years, and one of these Early Childhood qualifications:

• Intermediate
• Bridging
• CIT - Certificate in Infant and Toddler Care and Development
• CPT - Certificate in Preschool Teaching
• ACEY - Advanced Certificate in Early Years
• CECCE - Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education
• ACECCE - Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education
• DMT - Diploma in Montessori Teaching
• DPT - Diploma in Preschool Teaching
• DPL - Diploma in Preschool Leadership
• DECCE - Diploma in Early Childhood Care Education
• Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood
• Higher Nitec in Early Childhood Education

The following academic/English criteria also apply, as provided by HR. Candidates must have any of the following:

• Minimum of 1 O-Level credit, including English at least C6
• WPL equivalent to O-Level
• At least average SOA 5 in the WPL series, including SOA 5 for WPL (Written)
• Degree, full A-Level certificate or any diploma
