Job summary

General Re, a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary with global reinsurances operations, offers a full-time internship in the Asia Life/Health team in Singapore. You will assist CI-related analyses, data studies, and presentations in a collaborative, professional setting.

Based in Singapore, the role runs five days per week from January 7, with exposure to portfolio monitoring and AI-related projects, partnering with actuarial and account teams to develop analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma student in actarial science, mathematics, statistics or any related quantitative fields.
• Knowledge of statistical software, such as R and Python, will be advantageous.
• Experience in handling large volumes of data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Able to work independently as well as a strong team player.
• This is a full-time internship, ideally 5 days per week from January 7.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting industry studies and experience analysis for critical illness insurance products.
• Provide support in survey results presentations.
• Provide support in portfolio monitoring and track CI product development; work with account management and actuarial teams.
• Support other data analytics and generative AI projects as assigned.

Yor Role

Yo are a member of the the Asia Life/Health team spporting varios Critical Illness (CI) related analytical and administrative tasks.

Yor Key Responsibilities

• Assist in condcting indstry stdies and experience analysis for critical illness insrance prodcts
• Provide spport in srvey reslts presentations
• Provide spport in portfolio monitoring, keep track of critical illness prodcts development and work closely with the accont management and actarial teams
• Provide spport to other projects related to data analytics and generative AI as assigned from time to time

Yor Profile
