Job summary

Join AIA as an Actuarial Analyst in the Appointed Actuary Department, supporting general insurance reporting and regulatory requirements. You will contribute to department projects and enhance reporting analytics with robust controls and documentation.

The role requires a degree in Actuarial Science, progress in actuarial exams, and strong communication with stakeholders. Proficiency in Excel/Word is preferred, and knowledge of Prophet is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent actuarial experience.
• Progress demonstrated in actuarial professional exams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to take on new challenges.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of Prophet is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present statutory and regulatory reports with in-depth analysis and clear explanations.
• Optimize and streamline processes for general insurance reporting analytics with robust controls.
• Contribute to project management for the annual bonus communication exercise.
• Assist with Prophet modelling to enhance in-force management of Par Fund.
