Job summary

AIA invites an Actuarial Analyst to join the Appointed Actuary Department, supporting general insurance reporting and regulatory requirements while helping deliver key department projects.

You will prepare statutory and regulatory reports with in-depth analysis, streamline reporting analytics, assist with Prophet modelling for inforce management, and support the annual bonus communications. A Bachelor's in Actuarial Science and progress in actuarial exams are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent.
• Actuarial exams progress is expected.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to step outside comfort zone and take on new challenges.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of Prophet is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present statutory and regulatory reports with in-depth analysis and clear explanations.
• Optimize and streamline processes for general insurance reporting analytics with robust controls.
• Contribute to project management functions, including support for annual bonus communications.
• Assist Prophet modelling for inforce management of Par Fund.
