Job summary

A leading facilities management company in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to coordinate and perform maintenance of building facilities. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in ACMV or mechanical technician roles with strong technical knowledge. The position requires proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as ACMV or mechanical technician or similar capacity.
• Familiarity with building maintenance practices and safety procedures is preferred.
• Pro-active, independent, able to work with minimal supervision and perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Work safely in accordance with HSE regulations and policies.
• Coordinate, supervise and perform building facility maintenance and rectification.
• Conduct routine checks including air-conditioning system and plumbing to ensure they are operating correctly.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Work safely in accordance with HSE regulations and policies
• Coordinate, supervise and perform building facility maintenance and rectification
• Facilitate interface with suppliers and term contractors for regular and ad-hoc maintenance activities
• Conduct routine checks including air-conditioning system, electrical, fire protection, plumbing system, etc. to ensure they are operating correctly
• Identify potential issue and highlight to supervisor/manager proactively
• Respond to users’ requests and alarms and report any fault to the supervisor
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for building facilities and service systems
• Conducting the necessary mitigations in order to make safe, isolate fault and resume operation
• Troubleshoot and rectify maintenance issues on ACMV and mechanical systems

Requirements

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / in Building / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
• Possess technical knowledge in chillers, ACMV equipment, BMS and BAS, electrical systems
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as ACMV or mechanical technician or similar capacity
• Familiarity with building maintenance practices and safety procedures is preferred;
• Organised and have good interpersonal skills.
• Pro‑active, independent, able to work with minimal supervision and perform under pressure;
