Job summary

Job description
Key Responsibilities
1. Design & Engineering
  • Prepare and review ACMV system designs, calculations, and drawings (HVAC layouts, ducting, chilled water, and ventilation systems).
  • Select suitable equipment (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, exhaust fans, cooling towers, etc.) based on design requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, green building standards, and energy efficiency guidelines.
  • Coordinate with architects, structural, and M&E consultants to ensure integrated system design.
2. Project Coordination
  • Plan and schedule ACMV works to align with the overall project timeline.
  • Supervise site installation, ensuring work quality and adherence to design and safety requirements.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
  • Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
3. Testing & Commissioning
  • Oversee system testing and balancing of air and chilled water systems.
  • Conduct commissioning procedures and prepare reports/documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify defects during testing or operation phases.
4. Documentation & Compliance
  • Prepare engineering documents: design drawings, material submissions, method statements, and as-built drawings.
  • Ensure all ACMV systems meet statutory requirements (e.g., BCA, NEA)
  • Maintain proper project documentation and records for audit and handover.
5. Maintenance & Support
  • Support maintenance teams in diagnosing system faults and recommending solutions.
Job Requirements
  • Possess min Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Building Services/ Environmental Engineering
  • Possess min Diploma in Mechanical or Specialist Diploma in Building Service or Diploma in Facility Management
  • Preferably with 1- 2 years related experience, those without working experience can be considered
