Job summary

impact bpo services pte. ltd. seeks an experienced BIM leader for a large-scale medical center project. You will manage a BIM team, coordinate mechanical design activities, and drive accurate deliverables across milestones.

The role requires extensive BIM software proficiency, experience with Revit/Navisworks, and collaboration with site and cost teams. Strong leadership and communication are essential for successful stakeholder engagement in a Singapore construction context.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical design coordination, shop drawings, BIM model, and CAD drafting.
• Certification in BIM Management from BCA preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with project stakeholders.
• High competency in BIM software and familiarity with Singapore submission standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage a BIM team to ensure on-time delivery aligned with client expectations.
• Identify scope of deliverables and ensure timely delivery at milestones; monitor progress and take corrective action.
• Manage project implementation plan and budget; report progress to management.
• Implement LOD 4, 5 and 6 in BIM; integrate time, cost, and asset tagging.
• Link Revit with Microsoft Project for BIM-site-cost collaboration.
• Provide staff training in Navisworks / BIM.
• Store equipment and engineering data in BIM properties for design and commissioning.
• Explore BIM tools for instrument tagging and duct/pipe friction calculations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage a BIM team to ensure that the successful & timely delivery of the project is in accordance with the client’s expectations.

• Identify the scope of project deliverables & ensure timely delivery at each project milestone, monitor progress & take preventive/corrective action

• Manage project implementation plan & budget & also report progress on a regular basis to the management.

• Implement LOD 4, 5 and 6 in BIM. Time, cost, and asset tagging into the model.

• Link Revit model with Microsoft Project for collaboration between BIM, site progress and cost.

• Staff training in Navisworks / BIM

• Making use of Properties in BIM to hold equipment data and engineering data like selection, design, and commissioning information.

• Explore the use of applications in Revit to store instruments and controller ID and communication link. Possibly cable tagging as well.

• Explore duct and pipe friction loss calculations using BIM.

• Other assignments as and when assigned by supervising management.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• More than 10 years hands-on working experience in Mechanical design coordination shop drawings / CSD / CBD / BIM Model and CAD drafting capable.

• Certification in BIM Management from BCA is preferred.

• Have high level of competency of BIM software through continued use, training, and assistance to project teams.

• Good Knowledge and experience with Singapore Authority submission, BIM Standards Authority and Authority submission process.

• Great leadership skills and able to communicate well with the team and stakeholders.
