Job summary

A leading property firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to coordinate monthly management accounts and prepare annual audits. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Business or Accountancy, have at least two years of full-set accounting experience, and possess good communication and analytical skills. Qualifications

• 2 years or above of accounting experience for full set closing.
• Basic knowledge of the property industry preferred.
• Willingness to learn and ability to work under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the monthly management accounts closing for all assigned companies.
• Prepare for the annual year-end audit.
• Prepare annual tax computation.
• Prepare monthly GST reports and analysis for quarterly filing.
• Update monthly management reports.
• Prepare financials for statistical surveys.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the monthly management accounts closing for all the assigned companies.
• Prepare for the annual year end audit.
• Prepare annual tax computation.
• Prepare for annual budget exercise for investment and development companies.
• Prepare monthly Goods & Service Tax (GST) reports and analysis/computations for quarterly GST filing.
• Update monthly management reports eg Investment & Development properties report and hotel performance report
• Prepare financials to Singapore Department of Statistics or any government authorities for statistical survey.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business/Accountancy/ACCA or equivalent professional certification
• 2 years and above of accounting experience for full set closing
• Preferably with basic knowledge of property industry
• Good team player
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to work under time pressure and stress
