Job summary

A leading construction finance company in Singapore is looking for an Assistant Accounts Manager to oversee day-to-day finance functions for a sub-group of companies. Key responsibilities include managing full-cycle accounting, preparing GST returns, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and liaising with auditors and tax agents. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Accounting/Finance, at least 4 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Sage 300 ACCPAC. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and both independent and collaborative work capabilities.

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience in the construction industry, handling full accounting duties.
  • Experience in managing full-cycle accounting functions including GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle accounting functions including GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns accurately and on time.
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing with reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
  • Monitor cash flow and assist in cash flow projections and forecasts.
  • Prepare monthly management reports in compliance with FRS and company policies.

Skills

Sage 300 ACCPAC accounting software experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Detail-oriented
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work independently

Education

Degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking/ACCA or equivalent
CPA preferred
