Job summary

A maritime management company located in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Officer to handle full set of vessel accounts, generate financial reports, and respond to vessel owners' queries. The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Accounting or Business, along with at least one year of related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and experience in vessel accounting is an advantage.

• Experience in vessel accounting is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of vessel accounts including reporting and accruals.
• Generate financial reports and respond to vessel owners' queries.
• Prepare working fund requests and ensure compliance with owners’ requirements.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Full set of vessel accounts (Includes PO accruals, portage bill, Opex reporting, etc)
• Generate Financial Reports
• Respond to vessel owners' queries
• Working fund request and calculations for deficit / surplus working fund
• Complete the accounts in compliance with the owners’ requirements within time line
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Business Faculty
• Minimum 1 year full set of accounts, experience in vessel accounting is an advantage
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
