Job summary

A financial services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced accounting professional to perform daily finance duties, ensure compliance with reporting regulations, and prepare audit schedules. Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in finance/accounting.
• Experience in the construction industry is advantageous.
• Ability to plan, organize, and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting duties including Accounts Receivable and Payable.
• Conduct cash flow updates and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Liaise with suppliers on discrepancies in invoices.

Job description

Responsibilities

Perform daily accounting & finance duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger for construction projects

Conduct cash flows updates and monitoring and prepare bank reconciliations

Liaise with suppliers and business units on any discrepancies in invoices and other supporting documents.

Preparation of audit schedules

Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements, financial accounting regulations, policies and procedures

Liaise with Auditor

Other ad-hoc finance reports/duties assigned by the Management

Job Requirements

• Candidate should at least possess a Degree in Accountancy, ACCA qualification or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
• Preferably have 3–5 years of relevant working experience
• Prior experience in Construction industry is advantageous.
• A self-starter who is able to plan, organize and take initiative to meet job objectives and tight deadlines
• Able to adapt to dynamic & fast‑pace environment.
• Must be meticulous & attentive to details
• Good communication skills and Independent
