Position Statement

The Accounts Executive, Payable core responsibilities are audit, processing and timely payment of all hotel payments.

What will you be doing?
  • Account for and audit all purchase orders, receive records and suppliers’ invoices (purchase invoices matching procedure).
  • Involvement in operations, monitoring and interacting with related team members on a daily basis.
  • Prepares data entry on a daily basis.
  • Ensure all invoices have proper supporting documents and authorization before processing payment.
  • Prepare vouchers, including cost distributions and account codes for all suppliers’ invoices and credit memos.
  • Prepares journal entries as assigned in accordance to Hilton Chart of Accounts, Uniform System of Accounts for Lodging Industry (latest edition) and Singapore Financial Reporting Standard.
  • Balance suppliers’ monthly statements to the hotel’s accounts payable record.
  • Answer suppliers’ and other parties’ queries relating to accounts payable.
  • Prepare payment schedule tracking report and analysis report.
What are we looking for?
  • Degree/ Diploma and above in Accounting discipline.
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Attention to details and good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in high volume environment with strict timelines.
  • Possess system skills in Check SCM and SUN.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, etc.
