Job summary

A food distribution company in Singapore is seeking a responsible and experienced Accounts Executive to manage accounting functions on a part-time hybrid basis. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma/Degree in Accounting and 1-2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in accounting software and knowledge of Singapore tax procedures are essential. This role requires a commitment of 5 days a week at 3 hours per day.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in handling full set of accounts.
  • Independent and able to meet deadlines.
  • Singaporean / PR only.

Responsibilities

  • Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, Bank Reconciliation).
  • Prepare and submit GST returns and ensure compliance.
  • Assist in tax computation and liaise with auditors.
  • Perform monthly financial closing and prepare management reports.

Skills

Accounting software proficiency (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks)
Detail-oriented
Knowledge of Singapore GST

About Us

Sanrei Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. is engaged in the import, distribution, and retail of Japanese frozen seafood and food products in Singapore. We operate retail food kiosks and manage wholesale and export activities within the Asia Pacific region.

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Accounts Executive to manage our company’s accounting functions on a part-time hybrid basis.

Job Responsibilities
  • Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, Bank Reconciliation)
  • Prepare and submit GST returns and ensure compliance with IRAS requirements
  • Assist in tax computation and liaise with auditors and corporate secretary when required
  • Perform monthly financial closing and prepare management reports
  • Handle CPF, salary preparation, and staff expense claims
  • Maintain proper bookkeeping and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
  • Support management in budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting
Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in handling full set of accounts (preferably in SME or F&B industry)
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Singapore GST, CPF, and corporate tax procedures
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
  • Singaporean / PR only
  • Able to work 5 days a week (3 hours per day) – hybrid arrangement negotiable
  • Hybrid work setup (home and office)
