A reputable organization in Singapore is seeking a meticulous Accounts Executive to join its Finance team. This role entails handling financial reporting, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting close processes. We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounts Executive (General Ledger) to join our central Finance team. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple entities, managing high transaction volumes, and supporting both local and group-level reporting.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment, with strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail.
Perform month-end closing and reconciliations accurately within reporting timelines.
Ensure all financial information complies with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and maintain supporting documentation, journals, and schedules.
Generate and manage fixed asset entries and monthly depreciation schedules.
Reconcile intercompany balances and transactions across the group.
Prepare quarterly GST reports for consolidated submission.
Handle annual tax computation and liaise with tax agents on corporate income tax filing.
Coordinate statutory audits, including preparation of audit schedules, draft financial statements, and responding to auditor queries.
Support IFRS 116 compliance matters with auditors and UK finance counterparts.
Participate in finance projects and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager, Finance.
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2 years of hands‑on accounting experience, ideally in a high‑volume or multi‑entity environment.
Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and accounting principles.
Meticulous, analytical, and deadline‑driven, with strong attention to detail.
Excellent time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
Experience in external audit (2–4 years) will be an added advantage.
