Job summary

A leading wholesale and retail trade company in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage the full set of accounts. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in accounting and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include managing accounts receivable, preparing cash flow forecasts, and assisting with audits. Microsoft Business Central experience is a plus. Responsibilities

  • Handle the full set of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Monitor and prepare cash flow forecasts to support management planning.
  • Manage the full spectrum of fixed asset functions including tracking and depreciation.
  • Generate monthly invoices and handle customer billing enquiries.
  • Prepare balance sheet schedules such as fixed assets and prepayments.
  • Review monthly and annual bank reconciliations for accuracy.
  • Assist in year-end statutory audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

  • Working Location: Bedok
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Monday-Friday, 8:30AM - 5:30PM)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + Variable Bonus + Medical Benefits
  • Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
  • Handle the full set of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and month-end closing activities.
  • Monitor and prepare cash flow forecasts to support management planning.
  • Manage the full spectrum of fixed asset functions, including tracking, depreciation, and reporting.
  • Generate monthly invoices and handle customer billing enquiries.
  • Prepare and maintain balance sheet schedules such as fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, and reconciliation of inter-company transactions and balances.
  • Review monthly and annual bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Review and submit quarterly GST e-submissions, and assist with ECI and Form C e-filings.
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial and management reports.
  • Assist in year-end statutory audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Contribute to process improvements and system enhancement initiatives.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • At least 1 year of practical experience in an accounting role involving full set of accounts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central and Asana will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
