Job summary

A leading concrete firm in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Manager to handle the full set of accounts, including monthly and annual accounting closures. The ideal candidate will manage GST submissions, prepare statutory reports, and liaise with external auditors. A Professional Certificate or Diploma in Finance or Accountancy is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience in using Sage300 is an advantage. This role involves analytical problem-solving and handling ad-hoc issues related to accounts.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Human Resource or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Sage300 would be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word.
• Possess an analytical mind and is good at problem-solving.
• Competent in month-end closing.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts, including monthly/quarterly/yearly accounting closing.
• Handle AR/AP and bi-weekly billing.
• Manage year-end statutory reports.
• Responsible for quarterly GST submission.
• Prepare and submit statistic returns to a relevant government body.
• Liaise with external auditor.
• Handle ad-hoc issues.
