This includes ensuring timely payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and liaising with vendors. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance, has at least 2 years of experience, and is proficient in accounting systems like MYOB or QuickBooks. This role demands a meticulous and accountable individual, capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of Accounts Payable functions, including invoice verification, data entry, and payment processing.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of accounting entries and vendor reconciliations.
• Handle monthly closing activities and assist in audit preparation.
• Maintain accurate records, filing, and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Liaise with vendors, project teams, and internal departments to resolve payment issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a construction environment.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems (e.g. MYOB / QuickBooks / SAP).
• Meticulous, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
