Job summary

A prominent company in the construction sector located in Singapore is seeking an accounting professional to manage financial accounts and reports. Responsibilities include preparing GST returns and maintaining vendor databases. Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts including AR, AP, GL and bank reconciliation.
• Assist in preparing monthly management reports, cash flow forecasts and other reports required by the Group.
• Process supplier invoices, payments, and staff claims.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts including AR, AP, GL and bank reconciliation.
• Assist in preparing monthly management reports, cash flow forecasts and other reports required by the Group.
• Process supplier invoices, payments, and staff claims.
• Assist with accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Responsible for preparing GST returns in compliance with IRAS requirements.
• Maintain and update customer and vendor databases.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or LCCI in Accounting or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or administrative role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Possess initiative and able to meet deadlines.
