Job description

Overview

1. Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL) functions and month end closing
2. Prepare journal entries, AR & AP reconciliation and financial schedules to support reporting
3. Assist in preparing financial and management reports
4. Monitor cash flow, payments, collections, and ensure timely settlement of invoices
5. Preparation of GST for submission
6. Liaise with auditors for statutory reporting and professional advisors on related matters
7. Preparation for tax schedules and assist in the replies to tax agent
8. Maintain proper filing of accounting records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
9. Provide administrative support and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
10. Assist in any other duties as may be required by your supervisor from time to time

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting discipline or above with minimum 3 years of working experience in accounting role;
• Experience in handling of full set of accounts and / or in bunkering segment will be an advantage;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software Microsoft Dynamics Central 365 will be a plus;
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and a strong team player
