Accounts Executive – Renowned Shipyard | Boon Lay MRT | MNC with Stable Team

We are representing a renowned multinational shipyard with a stable and supportive finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on and detail-oriented finance professional seeking to develop their career within a global marine engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts for an overseas subsidiary.
• Process AP invoices and employee claims while ensuring compliance with VAT and other statutory regulations.
• Prepare vendor and employee payments per schedule or upon ad‑hoc request.
• Raise and monitor AR invoices, follow up on outstanding payments.
• Maintain daily cashbook updates, monitor cash flow, and prepare cash utilization reports.
• Perform month‑end activities including bank reconciliations and accruals.
• Prepare audit schedules, quarterly VAT reports, and follow up on items such as GRIR.
• Manage vendor and customer registration according to SOP.
• Assist with yearly audits and respond to VAT‑related queries.
• Support SG entities with ad‑hoc payments and month‑end AP reclassification entries.

Requirements

• Diploma, LCCI, or ACCA Foundation (or higher) in Accounting or related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably handling full sets of accounts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word; knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with vendors and overseas counterparts.
• Meticulous, organized, and patient with a strong sense of ownership.
• Only Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents will be considered.
