Job summary

Job description

Responsibilities

• Work with the Accounts team to ensure accurate and timely month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.

• Liaise with HQ for accounts-related matters.

• Assist the Manager in financial analysis, reporting, and consolidation.

• Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly journal entries for Trading Card Games (TCG) sales and costing, mobile games sales and costing, and other transactions.

• Maintain proper accounting records and schedules, including tracking of prepayment and accrual.

• Prepare royalty/sales reports for licensors.

• Ensure calculations for Google and Apple sales reports are up to date with the latest changes in tax and charges.

• Assist in reviewing the financial reporting package for subsidiary companies.

• Review and discuss accounting treatment on new products/current procedures with Manager.

• Assist in preparing and computing S45 withholding tax.

• Liaise with internal stakeholders and perform monthly intercompany reconciliation.

• Coordinate and liaise with auditor/tax agent/IRAS/any external parties whenever required.

• Compute monthly average exchange rates for Accounts and other departments’ use.

• Continuously review and improve internal control and workflow to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Accountancy or Finance, or be a qualified member of ACCA/ISCA/CPA.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience (candidates with more years of experience may be considered for the Senior Executive role).

• Well-versed in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel.

• Candidates with experience in similar industries or professional accounting firms is added advantage.

• Meticulous and attentive to details.

• Excellent at schedule management and multi-tasking.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite system would be advantageous.

• Adept at working both independently and in a team.

• Effective decision-making skills and strong problem-solving skills.

• Open to travel overseas for business trips when required.
