We are seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to join the finance team at Daiso Singapore Pte Ltd.

In this full‑time role based in Jurong East, you will be responsible for a full set of accounting and reporting duties to support the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounting reports for headquarters.
• Monthly closing support; preparing monthly closing schedules, communicating and following up with related departments.
• Budget preparation support.
• CFO support (ad‑hoc support based on instructions from CFO).
• Corporate tax and expatriate individual tax support (assist in preparing tax schedules).
• Audit support.
• ERP accounting system implementation.
• Treasury processes.
• Treasury‑related accounting journal entries for accounting system; preparation of monthly cash flow forecasts.
• AR and AP support duties (including bookkeeping).

What we're looking for

Relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in a similar financial accounting role, preferably within the retail or consumer goods industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and reporting requirements.
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
