PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
  • The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing partial accounts and HR functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial processes. This role supports the closing of monthly accounts, contributes to general accounting functions, and provides assistance with additional duties as assigned by management.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance & Accounting
  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
  • Record incoming payments, vendor invoices, and vendor payments in SAP B1.
  • Reconcile AR/AP Aging Reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Generate and distribute monthly Debtors’ Statements.
  • Verify supplier statements against invoices received.
  • Maintain and update financial records and ensure a proper filing system for traceability.
  • Handle petty cash management, including monthly reconciliation.
  • Maintain and update Business Partner (BP) Master Data, including new customer and vendor registrations in SAP B1.
  • Assisting Finance Manager in preparation of weekly sales reports, monthly closing reports, and other ad hoc financial analyses.
  • Support the year-end audit process through timely provision of required documentation.
HR Support
  • Manage work permit applications and renewals.
  • Assist in matters related to foreign workers.

  • Either a Certificate / Diploma / Bachelor Degree or equivalent with related studies in Business Studies/ Administration/Accounting/Finance or equivalent qualification.
  • Sufficient working experience in related field;
  • Possess a high level of integrity, ethics and able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information;
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all level of people in a professional manner;
  • Good and effective communication skills, able to read, write and converse in English fluently;
  • The ability to be flexible, decisive and quick-thinking;
  • Competent with Accounting ERP System;
