Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for an Accounts Assistant to handle A/R and A/P processing, prepare monthly reports, and assist with administrative support. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience, a Higher Nitec/ LCCI/ Diploma in Accounting, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Qualifications

  • 1-2 years' experience in accounting or related field.
  • Ability to handle journal entries and bank reconciliations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for accounts receivable and payable processing.
  • Update cashbook and prepare bank reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparing monthly reports.

Job Description:
  • Responsible for A/R and A/P processing and journal entries
  • Cashbook updates and prepare bank reconciliation
  • Assist in preparing monthly reports
  • Administrative and operational support
  • Assist in any other accounts-related matters as and when required
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience
  • Minimum Higher Nitec/ LCCI/ Diploma holders in Accounting
  • Preferably those able to start immediate or short notice
  • Preferably having knowledge in ERP systems such as SAP is preferred
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Compensation:
  • Work location: Central, Singapore
  • Working hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm
  • Transport reimbursement
