Job summary

Job description

We are looking for passionate team players to join us in our finance team. You will be responsible for AR, AP and GL with close collaboration with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handles all aspects relating to the accounting functions to facilitate the closing of the full sets of accounts (AR, AP, GL)
  • Responsible for month-end, quarter end and year end closing
  • Handles day-to-day financial transactions such as issuing invoices, allocating receipts, payments and record transactions in accounting system
  • Review AR aging and ensure collections are reconciled promptly and accurately
  • Liaise with customers promptly to ensure timely payment
  • Assist in annual finance audit
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation
  • Perform quarterly and yearly GST tax submissions
  • Provide relevant support as necessary and other ad-hoc assignments
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional certification
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Knowledge of Sage300 is an added advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
