A reputable accounting firm in Singapore is looking for an Accounting Associate to manage full sets of accounts for clients, including month-end closing and GST reporting. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred. Fresh graduates are also welcomed. Job Description:
Handle full sets of accounts for clients.
Provide professional client service and ensure reporting timelines are met.
Set up charts of accounts for new accounting clients.
Record receipts and payments in accounting software.
Prepare month-end payments and online banking transactions.
Responsible for month-end closing process and preparation of monthly financial report for management purposes.
Prepare GST report and filing.
Update cashflow report.
Audit liaison and drafting of financial statements.
Preparation of XBRL submission.
Compute monthly payroll and year-end remuneration returns. (e.g., Form IR8A)
Liaise with banks for the opening and closing of clients’ bank accounts.
Other related accounting assignments as assigned.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in an Accountancy or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience managing multiple entities’ partial or full set of accounts preferred.
Candidates who are currently studying / attained Accounting Professional Certificate (ACCA, CPA are advantageous)
Fresh graduates or candidates without prior experience will also be considered.
Able to multi-task in a fast-moving environment.
Self-motivated, meticulous and customer-service oriented.
