Position: Accounts Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play an important role in managing day-to-day accounting operations and supporting the company’s financial processes.

Job Scope and Responsibilities:

  • Managing and handling full sets of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
  • Co-ordinate to ensure completeness of journal entries; supported with the necessary documents
  • Perform timely month-end closing of accounts
  • Prepare Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet schedules
  • Handle quarterly GST report
  • Ensure timely and provide accurate, reliable and complete set of financial statements and management reports
  • Involved in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Perform year-end closing and audit schedules and liaise with external auditors and tax agents
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and proper documentations for audit
  • Ensure compliance and alignment of accounting policies and procedures with accounting standards, tax, and statutory requirements/ government regulations
  • Support management with financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting
  • Perform general accounting administrative duties
  • Work with other department in resolving all finance/ accounts related issues
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience (FMCG/retail industry preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes and accounting software
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management
  • Good team player with a positive work attitude
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work well under pressure
