Job summary

A leading food manufacturer in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accountant. Responsibilities include managing accounts receivable and payable, supervising assistants, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of accounting experience, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in both Chinese and English.   • Manage Accounts Receivable, issue invoices, and track balances.
  • Handle Accounts Payable, check supplier statements and prepare payments.
  • Create and update customer accounts and vendor details.
  • Supervise Accounts Assistants and review their work.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and ensure compliance.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and maintain general ledger.
  • Process staff expense claims.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), issue invoices, prepare customer statements, track rebates, and follow up on outstanding balances.
    管理应收账款,开具发票、准备客户对账单、处理回扣,并跟进未付款项。
  • Handle Accounts Payable (AP), key in supplier invoices/PO/CN, check supplier statements, and prepare PV/cheques for expenses.
    处理应付账款,录入供应商发票/采购单/贷项通知单,核对供应商对账单,准备付款凭证/支票。
  • Create and update new customer accounts, vendor details, and item codes.
    创建和更新客户账户、供应商资料及产品编码。
  • Supervise Accounts Assistants, assign daily tasks, and review their work.
    监督会计助理,分配日常任务并审核工作成果。
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, GST submissions, and ensure compliance.

  • Perform bank reconciliation and maintain general ledger.

Required Skills & Competencies
  • Proficient in both Chinese and English for professional communication.

  • Strong understanding of AR/AP, general ledger, GST reporting, and financial principles.

  • Experience in guiding and supervising Accounts Assistants to ensure workflow efficiency.

  • Proficiency in Excel (formulas, data analysis) and experience with accounting/HRMS software.

Requirements
  • ACCA Diploma or equivalent

Working Hours 工作时间:

  • 周一至周四 Mon to Thu: 7:00am – 4:30pm; 8:00am – 5:30pm
  • 周五或轮流周六 Fri or Alternate Sat: 7:00am – 4:00pm; 8:30am – 5:30pm
