Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive with a minimum of 3 years of working experience in accounting or a related field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the finance department’s overall efficiency. A diploma or higher qualification in accounting, finance, or related discipline is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage and process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Reconciliation: Perform bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain and update the general ledger, including journal entries and adjustments, ensuring alignment with company policies.
  • Expense Management: Monitor and track employee expenses, verifying compliance with company policies, and processing reimbursements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the finance team in the preparation and analysis of budgets and forecasts.
  • Tax and Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and ensure compliance with local financial regulations and standards.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes and support decision-making based on data analysis.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative duties within the finance department, as needed.
Qualifications

Education: Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar), and strong MS Excel skills.

Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and local tax regulations.

Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.

Preferred Skills: Experience working in IT industry-specific knowledge, if applicable.
