Overview
Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant Manager / Accounts Manager to oversee the full spectrum of accounting functions for our F&B retail outlets. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in managing outlet-level accounts, consolidating financial data, and supporting management with accurate and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full sets of accounts for multiple F&B retail outlets, including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.
- Review and validate daily sales reports, POS data, cash/NETS/credit card settlements, and variances from outlets.
- Monitor inventory usage, wastage, stock adjustments, and perform periodic stock audits.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, P&L reports by outlet, and consolidation for management review.
- Manage petty cash, staff claims, supplier invoices, and payment schedules.
- Liaise with outlet managers on sales discrepancies, cost controls, and compliance with accounting procedures.
- Work closely with external auditors, tax agents, and banks.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
- Implement process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and ensure timely reporting.
- Supervise junior accounting staff (if applicable).
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in F&B, retail, or multi-outlet environment.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Good understanding of GST, audit requirements, and local accounting standards.
- Detail-oriented, hands-on, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with outlet teams and management.
Added Advantage
- Experience with POS system integration and sales reconciliation.
- Prior experience leading a small team.
