Job summary

A financial services company in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support day-to-day finance operations. Responsibilities include handling full sets of accounts, preparing invoices, and liaising with external parties. Job Description

The Accounts Assistant supports the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the company. This role is suitable for a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable handling full sets of accounts in a corporate environment and can work independently with accuracy and confidentiality.

The position involves routine accounting functions, coordination with external parties, and support for month-end and reporting activities. Clear communication in both English and Mandarin is required for work-related coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle full sets of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and month-end closing

  • Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, bank reconciliations, and accounting schedules

  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records

  • Assist in the preparation of management reports and financial statements

  • Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, and external service providers

  • Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of financial information

  • Support ad-hoc finance-related tasks assigned by the Finance Manager

Requirements
  • Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably handling full sets of accounts

  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate clearly in each language

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills

  • Able to work independently and handle confidential information responsibly

  • Experience in investment, financial services, or private equity firms is an advantage

  • This position is open to Singaporeans and PRs only
