Job summary

A well-known company in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Assistant. Responsibilities include managing accounts receivable and payable, preparing GST documentation, and producing financial reports. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting.
  • Available for full-time employment, with an immediate or short notice start preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) processes.
  • Oversee fund transfers between pooling accounts and maintain accurate journal entries.
  • Regularly update the cashbook and monitor fund balances; prepare bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare quarterly Goods and Services Tax (GST) documentation for filing.
  • Assist with monthly recharge billing to related entities and maintain monthly audit schedules.
  • Assist in compiling and preparing monthly reports for management review.
  • Provide operational support, including arranging bank couriers and collecting correspondence.
  • Support additional accounts-related tasks as required.
