Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an entry-level accounts assistant to manage accounts receivable and payable processes. The ideal candidate will have a Nitec in Accounting and should be detail-oriented with good communication skills. This role offers training and a positive work environment. Applicants will be notified if shortlisted.

Qualifications

  • Entry level with relevant studies is welcome to apply; training will be provided.
  • Relevant 1-year of accounting or administrative experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Handle Accounts Receivable (billing, payment recording, follow-up on outstanding invoices).
  • Process Accounts Payable (supplier invoices, staff claims, payments).
  • Perform data entry, transaction reconciliation, and financial record updates.
  • Order office supplies and track inventory.
  • Help with office events, scheduling meetings, and managing calendars.
  • Assist with month-end closing and report preparation.
  • Maintain filing systems and general office admin support.
  • Communicate with colleagues, clients, and vendors for coordination.
