Job summary

is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to manage comprehensive accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory requirements in Singapore, including GST and corporate tax considerations. You will handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, oversee AP/AR, GL, fixed assets, and reconciliations, prepare financial statements, liaise with auditors and tax authorities, and support audits with timely, accurate information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting and reporting requirements in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing to ensure timely and accurate financial records
• Manage full spectrum of accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial data
• Prepare financial statements and accounting reports to support business decision-making and regulatory compliance
• Liaise with external accounting firms, auditors, and tax authorities to facilitate audits and ensure adherence to tax regulations
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, GST regulations, and corporate tax obligations to mitigate financial risks
• Manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines to support smooth accounting operations
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain strong professional relationships and resolve accounting issues
• Analyze financial data and solve problems to improve accounting processes and client management
• Collaborate as a team player to support department goals and foster a positive work environment
