Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a meticulous finance professional with at least 5 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel, and responsible for coordinating financial tasks, managing accounts receivables, and providing analysis to support the Finance department. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable function.
  • Experience in full sets of accounts is highly advantageous.
  • Able to commence work immediately or at short notice.

Job description

A meticulous, and dependable finance professional, with at least 5 years of related experience in the accounting field of work. You would have a keen sense of numbers and be adept at using Microsoft suite of products, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Equipped with a clear mind and carrying a pleasant disposition, you are able to see beyond the numbers to provide meaningful analysis for the work assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with Sales Fulfilment team and Sales team, to ensure change requests relating to customer limits and terms are promptly resolved.
  • Update and ensure all receipts, transactions and postings in SAP system are accurate and tallied.
  • Prepare and ensure all monthly Debit/Credit Notes are posted and sent out accurately and promptly.
  • Compile and prepare monthly Accounts Receivable Aging report.
  • Calculate monthly local salesmen commission and propose adjustments where necessary.
  • Calculate monthly overseas commission to subsidiary.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations promptly.
  • Track and calculate daily/weekly/monthly exchange rates.
  • Providing administration support to the Finance department.
  • Assist Deputy Finance Manager with internal order verification.
  • For the assigned countries, monitor monthly country performance, analyzing for variances and providing meaningful insights.
  • Prepare routine and ad-hoc accounting reports and assist Deputy Finance Manager with reporting requirements from Taiwan HQ.
  • Manage any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Deputy Finance Manager or CFO.
Qualifications
  • Possess at least a Diploma in Accountancy.
  • SAP knowledge is a must.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable function, preferably in the manufacturing/trading industry.
  • Having experience in full sets of accounts is highly advantageous.
  • Meticulous and able to meet deadlines.
  • Good team player, effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, especially in Excel.
  • Able to commence work immediately or at short notice.
