Job summary

A leading aviation management company in Singapore is looking for an Accounting Assistant to manage accounts payable and receivable. The position requires a Diploma in Accountancy and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with client interactions. Responsibilities include assisting with day-to-day transactions, vendor management, invoicing, reporting, and administrative tasks. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in the field of accounting (AP/AR).
  • Training will be provided but candidate has to have the ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable in conversing with clients and internal team members.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day transactions and month-end processes.
  • Manage vendors and liaise with business units on accounting transactions.
  • Invoice clients according to business processes.
  • Assist with internal reporting for AP and AR.
  • Assist with annual audit procedures.
  • Provide feedback on internal controls and process improvement.
  • Review claim expenses.
  • Build understanding of GST implications.
  • Perform basic HR and office administrative tasks.
  • Assist with adhoc tasks.

Assist with day-to-day transactions, month-end processes

Manage vendors and liaising with business units on understanding operational transactions for accounting implications

Invoice clients according to business processes

Assist with internal reporting processes with regards to AP and AR

Assist with annual audit procedures

Provide feedback on internal controls and process improvement

Review claim expenses

Job requirements
