A finance company in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Assistant to record financial transactions, support accounts payable and receivable processes, and prepare accounting schedules. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, proficiency in accounting software, and strong attention to detail. This role offers an opportunity to grow within the finance team.
Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
Prepare journal entries and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare accounting schedules for reporting and reconciliation purposes.
Support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Perform other finance-related duties as assigned.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounts assistant or bookkeeping role
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numerical data
Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet programs
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Excellent time management and organisational skills
